Upper Lid Blepharoplasty

Involves the removal of excess tissue from the upper eyelids to help create a more youthful and open appearance.

In some cases, it is also done to improve vision if excess tissue obstructs the visual field. In this case it may be covered by health insurance if documented before surgery and preapproved by your insurers. It is usually performed under local anaesthesia with minimal downtime.

Ectropion/Ectropion (Lid Malpositions)

Ectropion is a condition in which the lower eyelid turns outward, exposing the inner surface of the eyelid and leaving the eye vulnerable to irritation, dryness, and infection. The goal of the surgery is to tighten and reposition the eyelid so it rests properly against the eye, restoring normal function and protecting the eye’s surface. The procedure is typically done under local anaesthetic. Recovery is usually quick, with most patients experiencing improved comfort and appearance within a few weeks

Entropion is a condition in which the eyelid, usually the lower lid, turns inward, causing the eyelashes and skin to rub against the surface of the eye. This can lead to irritation, redness, tearing, discomfort, and even damage to the cornea if left untreated. Surgical correction typically involves tightening the eyelid and repositioning the muscles or tendons to restore the normal outward orientation of the lid. The procedure is usually performed under local anaesthesia and has a high success rate, offering significant relief from symptoms and protecting the eye from further injury.

Brow Lift

An eyebrow lift is a procedure designed to raise sagging eyebrows and help refresh the upper face and forehead. By lifting the brow area, the surgery creates a more youthful and refreshed appearance, often improving vision in cases where drooping brows obstruct the upper field of sight.

The goal of the eyebrow lift surgery is to revive the natural look of the upper facial area so that it harmonises with the overall facial appearance.
