4 Bad Skin Habits to Avoid

Our clinic philosophy starts and ends with beautiful skin. Here are a few bad habits that we should all avoid.

1. Never go to bed without cleansing your skin. Makeup, sebum and debris accumulation create the perfect breeding ground for acne and can contribute to skin ageing.

2. Never skip sunscreen. Even on cloudy days UVA rays are present – these cause collagen breakdown in the skin and wrinkles.

3. Don’t smoke! It increases our risk of cancer and heart disease but it is also an incredibly powerful stimulus to premature skin ageing.

4. Never pick spots. This can cause acne scarring which can be problematic and expensive to treat. Prevention is better than cure!

Beautiful skin starts with breaking bad habits and substituting with good ones. These interventions are easy, cheap and effective.
